About Proust FM
Proust FM is a continuous broadcast of Marcel Proust’s masterpiece, In Search Of Lost Time. Like a radio station found in the middle of the night, the narrative is always moving, inviting listeners to step into the stream and stay as long as they wish. The current version features the first volume Swann's Way and the first two sections of Within A Budding Grove, with the remaining volumes to be added in the coming months.
It was designed and built by Ben Murray, author of Oh, That More Such Flowers May Come Tomorrow, a book about reading Proust for the first time.
The text used is from the original English translation by C. K. Scott Moncrieff, first published between 1922-1930. The full text is available online via Standard Ebooks. All material is in the public domain.
