Proust FM is a continuous audio broadcast of Marcel Proust’s masterpiece, In Search Of Lost Time.
Like listening to a radio station in the middle of the night, the narrative is always moving, inviting listeners to step into the stream and stay as long as they wish.
The novel plays on a single unbroken loop. Every listener who joins the broadcast hears the same passage at the same moment, wherever they are — the stream does not begin when you arrive, and it does not stop when you leave.
You can also ignore the broadcast entirely. Choose any volume or chapter and listen at your own pace, and the site will remember where you got to. Live listening is deliberately not recorded: dropping into the stream for ten minutes will never overwrite 20 hours of your own progress.
Every chapter page carries the full text alongside the audio, so you can read along or simply read. There is no account to create and nothing to pay.
